PLEASE NOTE:

A Valid Visa, Travel Card or other type of Travel Documents is required to travel across the border to Mainland. Participants are responsible to make sure that they have the correct documentation.

Everyone cover their own transportation fess but for those interested we will travel as a group.


Join us, along with our co-hosts Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, for a roundtable discussion on the status of the Greater Bay Area with insights from company representatives in the area followed by a company visit to Daniel Wellington.


Traveling to Shenzhen as a group:

11:20 AM for a departure at 11:30 AM

Admiralty Station. East Rail Line direction Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau (We will meet at the last carriage of the train). For those of you organizing your own travel, please see below for details.

1:30-2:00 PM Introduction to HKSTP and Guided Tour 

A visit to Hong Kong Science Technology Park and a meeting with start-ups within innovation and tech operating in Shenzhen.


2:00-2:45 PM Roundtable Discussion 

HKSTP will lead us in a discussion on the current business landscape in the GBA and the I&T ecosystem. 


2:45-3:45 PM Mingle 

Together with C-TEK and other Swedish professionals operating in the area, we will explore opportunities and challenges for Swedish companies in the region and discuss future outlook. Light Food and drinks will be served.


4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Company Visit to Daniel Wellington, Unit 01, 15/F, West Tower, Baidu International Building, Haitian 1st Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. (深圳市南山区粤海街道海天一路百度国际大厦西塔1501)

Daniel Wellington opens their doors to share insights into the company's growth, along with advantages and challenges they face in the region. Mingle and after work. Program ends!

  • Apps: Please ensure you have WeChat and Alipay installed on your phone. Connect a valid credit card to your Alipay account.
  • SIM Card: Ensure you have a valid SIM card before crossing the border.


For those of you organizing your own travel:

  • Futian Bonded Area Station (Chinese: (福保站) Fubao Metro Station) is a 5 minute walk from HKSTP (first stop)
  • Keyuan(科苑) (line 2) is the closest MTR station to Daniel Wellington (second stop)
