Do you want to be able to greet someone and introduce yourself in Swedish? Pronounce the names of Swedish friends and colleagues? Learn some basic office lingo and learn essential words like Fika, Tack and Hej! Hej! Maybe ask directions or tell someone what you like to do in the office or in your spare time? Then this 8-week Introductory course is perfect, giving you basic knowledge of Swedish phrases and vocabulary.
For part of the course, you will also be introduced to different aspects of Swedish culture with the aim of giving you some small insights into the mind of a Swede and the Swedish way of doing business.
If you work for a Swedish company, have a Swedish partner, or just want to be able to say the name of your IKEA sofa correctly โ this is really your chance. If the course leaves you wanting more โ don't worry, weยดll take care of that later!
Your instructor and teacher will be Lena Nordstrรถm. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience, and has been developing and teaching online Swedish courses for several years. She is the perfect guide to steer you through the ins and outs of the Swedish language and the Swedish ways.
The classes will start in mid-October and run until mid-December. There will be 8 classes ร 90 minutes, once a week.
