As Hong Kong goes through a very turbulent period, the role of SwedCham as a hub for the Swedish business community is more important than ever. Please check our calendar for events and activities that are of value to you and your organization. We aim to provide a forum for experience sharing and knowledge transfer. We also want to organize appropriate social events, circumstances permitting.
On that last note, we regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's crayfish party. The decision was primarily based on the challenging and unpredictable transport situation that has been prevalent as of late. In particular on weekend evenings, we have seen key roads and tunnels blocked. In addition, the MTR has from time to time discontinued service for different portions of its network. While we think it is important to uphold traditions, we feel that going ahead this year would have entailed unnecessary risk for participants. We hope you will understand.
