The Swedish Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong is co-organizing this event with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China.

With the current Covid-19 situation, China's business landscape and its current business perspective for Swedish companies, including the labor laws and social credit system, have given companies a new scope and challenges to face. SwedCham together with our panel will try to clarify some of these important aspects in order to get an overview on what implications and considerations this has for Swedish companies operating in China

Our panel including Lucas Jonsson, Partner at Mannheimer Swartling, Joakim Abeleen, Market Area Director Greater China at Business Sweden, and Lars-Åke Severin, CEO and Founder at PSU will cover the following topics:

— assessment of the current business perspective, including logistics and manufacturing levels.

— labor laws concerning salary adjustments, redistribution of work tasks, and possible discharges as a result of the COVID-19 situation.

—updates of Corporate Social Credit system as well as the different measures taken during COVID-19.

The panel will be moderated by Daniela L-V Cassmer, General Manager at Swedcham China.
