Note: This seminar starts at 4 pm Hong Kong time and at 10 am in Sweden.
Headlines and commentaries about "Hong Kong's Declining Rule of Law" have popped up with increasing frequency after the introduction of the National Security Law in 2020. Are they merited?
Is Hong Kong law being replaced by PRC law? Is the Hong Kong judicial system losing its independence? Is the legal industry fleeing Hong Kong?
This seminar, led by SwedCham Chairman and practicing lawyer Kristian Odebjer, will explore these and other questions related to the rule of law in today's Hong Kong. The aim of the seminar is to draw some conclusions about what, if anything, has changed in the legal realm for companies doing business in Hong Kong.
