Hej hej! Curious about Swedish? Looking to understand Swedish culture? This course has it all covered!👋🏼
Language:
- Do you want to be able to greet someone and present yourself in Swedish?
- Do you want to ask for directions or tell someone what you like to do in your spare time?
- Do you want to pronounce IKEA furniture the right way?
This course will give you knowledge of useful phrases and vocabulary so that you are able to communicate in basic Swedish in common situations.
Cultural immersion:
- What is the Swedish Dream?
- Why is nature so important?
- What does sustainability, innovation and creativity mean for Swedes?
- What are important Swedish holidays and traditions? What is a "squeeze day"?
This is a Swedish course where we are primarily concentrating on the Swedish language. With that said we are also exploring a variety of topics in order to better understand each other and to bridge cultural differences.
You need no background knowledge of Sweden or Swedish to participate in this class.

WHEN AND WHERE
The course consists of eight lessons of 90 minutes. It will be held on Wednesdays from September 25 to November 13 in Room B, 5/F, Hang Lung House 184-192 Queen's Road Central Central, Hong Kong.
