Dane Chamorro
Dane Chamorro is a Senior Partner in Control Risks Asia Pacific business and has more than 25 years' experience in the region. A former US diplomat, Dane was previously Director of Global Risk Analysis for the Asia Pacific region and Managing Director of the company's North Asia business, encompassing Greater China, Korea and Mongolia. From 2013-2018, he was responsible for the ASEAN region, providing consulting advice for multinational clients on all facets of investment and political risk including business intelligence, integrity structures and compliance, crisis resolution, political exposure, etc.
Dane is a former US diplomatic officer and a frequent speaker at international conferences on governance and political issues focused on Asia. Dane has a degree in international finance from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and completed graduate research on comparative Asian political-economy and security issues at the University of California.
