Can a green recovery help to secure Hong Kong's future status as a global business hub – post-Covid-19? How can best practices on Green recovery from other countries best be implemented in Hong Kong?

Join this interactive panel discussion at the Mills (either via Zoom or in-person) - focusing on the topic of Green Recovery with experts and speakers from various backgrounds and industries. The event is free of charge. Do not miss out!

More on the topic:

Covid-19 has had a large economic impact and it is high time for governments around the world to use pandemic recovery measures to drive for sustainability and prepare the world for a better future. The Swedish government has for example allocated 9.7 billion SEK in Green Recovery initiatives in the Budget Bill for 2021. SwedCham's sustainability committee has called on the Hong Kong Government to take firmer leadership towards a Green Recovery to rebuild the economy's resilience to future crises in a policy paper.

The panel discussion will further explore best practices around the world and discuss how Hong Kong can act to secure a Green Recovery.

The Consul General of Sweden in Hong Kong Mr. Per Augustsson will participate and make a few introductory remarks on the subject. Followed by a panel discussion with the invited speakers.

The discussion will be moderated by Alexander Mastrovito, Head of Sustainability at Scania Hong Kong and Chair of SwedCham's Sustainability committee.

The event is co-hosted by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and The Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong.
